In Part 1 of this series, meet the women who are rewriting the microfinance narrative, one customer and one product at a time:
Morayo Wilde
Morayo Wilde is a multi-disciplinary professional with a diverse skill set that spans user interface design, project management and strategy. A graduate of Babcock University, she currently serves as a Strategy Officer at Pecan, where she plays a pivotal role in overseeing product conception and development.
With a keen focus on global progress, Morayo is deeply committed to advancing the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly in areas such as poverty eradication, healthcare access, and literacy.
In addition to her professional endeavours, Morayo finds solace in various pursuits including literature, bead-making, aquatic leisure, and mindful repose. By cultivating a balanced lifestyle, she strives to achieve personal fulfilment while making meaningful contributions to her community and beyond.

Blessing Hanson
Blessing Hanson is a results-oriented HR professional with a demonstrated ability to manage and coordinate administrative and HR functions to achieve operational excellence. She uses her expertise in talent acquisition, onboarding, performance management, compensation and benefits, and payroll management to ensure team synergy.
Blessing is known for her exceptional organisational skills and her ability to build and maintain strong relationships with colleagues and employees.
She is passionate about her work, highly adaptable, and meticulous in her approach, consistently delivering high-quality results.

Iyanuoluwa Akinola
Iyanu Akinola is an Internal Control Officer at Pecan, offering her eagle eyes to prevent potential hazards against the company. She believes in identifying and mitigating risks before they can snowball into problems, thereby safeguarding Pecan’s interests.
Her dedication extends beyond the numbers. She is a passionate advocate for women’s empowerment, shattering barriers and inspiring others to chase their dreams. She finds balance by nurturing her creative side in the world of art, showcasing a commitment to personal fulfilment alongside professional excellence.
Iyanu’s unwavering focus on both Pecan’s affairs and empowering women solidifies her as a powerful force. She’s poised to make a lasting impact in her professional and personal spheres.

Petmary Amaukwu
Petmary Amaukwu is a relationship officer and sales champion at Pecan. She graduated from Imo State University.
She excels at introducing customers to products that better their lives. Proactive and entrepreneurial, Petmary tackles customer issues with unwavering enthusiasm and dedication.
A connector at heart, she seamlessly extends her relationship-building skills beyond the professional sphere where she likes to work up a sweat on the football field and satisfies her adventurous spirit by exploring new cultures and locations.
